Cullie Sands married first when she was 45, marrying Thomas Earl Lackey (1898-1971), the son of George Ennis Lackey and Edna Earl Massingill, in 1943. The marriage did not last and she remarried, marrying Frederick William Beasley, the son of Neal Spencer Beasley and Mildred Lambeth. Fred Beasley had been married previously to Ann Lura Herbert, who passed away in 1947.

Cullie and Fred Beasley made their home in 1950 in Pulaski, Tennessee. After Fred Beasley's death in 1961, Cullie moved (at some point) to Columbia, Tennessee, according to the Social Security death record (only available on Ancestry.) She is believed to have passed away there.
