Louis L. Chadek, 66, of Pelican Lake, a Chicago & North Western railway employe for 37 years died Tuesday at his home after suffering a heart attack.

Mr. Chadek, a lifetime resident of the Antigo area, retired as a railway section foreman Jan. 1, 1960. For the past year he resided at Pelican Lake.

He was born Nov. 15, 1894, in Deerbrook, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Mary Vinatco Chadek. On June 14, 1921, at Antigo, he was married to Mary Zaitz.

His wife survives. Also surviving are a niece, Mrs. George (Jeanene) Guenther of Summit Lake and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Peck of Goleta, Calif., Mrs. Frances Clark of Milwaukee and Mrs. Othello Kazynski of Toledo, O.

He was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.
