Robert E. Newhouse, 59, of Sissonville passed away Saturday, June 6, 2009 at home after a short illness.
Robert had worked for Fads discount store with 25 years service, and had more recently worked for Quick Door Service with 5 years service.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Dolly Humphreys Newhouse.
Survived by sons, Joe Newhouse and his wife, Jenny, of Sissonville, and Jeremy Newhouse of Sissonville; sisters, Edna Smith and her husband, Junior, of Sissonville, Frances Haynes of Sissonville, Sidney Alderman and her husband, Jerry of Ravenswood, Helen Dragan of Colton, California, Ann Pusey of Kentucky, and Jan Newhouse of Charleston; brothers, Larry Newhouse and his wife, Janie, of Charleston, and Gary Newhouse and his wife, Kay of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, Blake, Hayden, Cole, Nathan, and Steven; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm Tuesday, June 9 at Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville with Reverend Vincent Quinn officiating.
