FRANK SHELBY DIES MONDAY IN MADILL

Services for William Frank Shelby, 61, were held Wednesday, Jan. 27, in First Baptist church. He died suddenly Monday morning about 9:00 a.m. in Madill where he had been working. Rev. Henry Chennault and Rev. Carlos Berry officiated and interment was in Green Hill cemetery. Bahner Funeral Home was in charge of services.

Pallbearers were E. Lee McKinney, A. K. McBride, Fred Dale, Dick Turner, Harry Horner, and Dick Perryman.

Shelby, who was self employed in road construction work, was born Sept. 26, 1903, at Savannah, Tenn. He moved to Davis 14 years ago from Mannsville. He was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Juanita Shelby of the home, a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Barnett of Poteau and one granddaughter, Kay Barnett, of Poteau; three sisters, Mrs. Teria Wilkinson of Muskogee, Mrs. Pauline Bruno of San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Kathryn Jordon of Jordontown, Tex.; three brothers, E. W. Shelby of Tulsa, Ben Shelby of Claremore, and Guy Shelby of Madill.
