Marcia A. Peterson, 56, of Logansport had local ties
Marcia A. Peterson, 56, of Logansport died Monday, June 4, 2007 at 5:34 p.m. at Howard Regional Health System in Kokomo.
Funeral service will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 7 at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Gross officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Peterson was a psychiatric attendant at the Logansport State Hospital for 25 years and had also worked at General Tire Company. She enjoyed needlepoint, crafts and reading.
Born Aug. 19, 1950, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Eleanor M. Bewley Purdue of Logansport and the late Donald Purdue. She married James R. Peterson June 13, 1970, in Logansport. He survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Lisa Shanabarger of Delphi; a son, Dustin Peterson of Logansport; a sister, Sandra K. Bussell of North Vernon; and two granddaughters.
