Mr. Rabon was born in Aynor, a son of Bink Squires Rabon and the late David Rabon. He was a member of Darling Lake Hunting Club and Myrtle Beach Moose Lodge No.1959. Mr. Rabon was an avid hunter and loved to fish
He was predeceased by one son, Dan Rabon; one daughter, Norma Jean Tyler; a great-granddaughter, Emily Jean Bell and three brothers.
Surviving in addition to his mother, of Loris; are his wife, Elva Fowler Rabon of Aynor; one son, Mack Junior Rabon and wife, Jackie, of Aynor; three daughters, Sarah Anderson and husband, Lanny, of Conway, Sondra Martin and husband, Wayne, of Aynor, and Debbie Causey of Aynor; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Wilton Rabon and Ricky Rabon both of Conway; and three sisters, Eloise Blanton of Tabor City, N.C., Sally Keith of Columbia, and Lib Parker of Aynor.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with the Rev. Dudley Parnell and the Rev. A.D. Grainger officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
