OCALA -- Edith Barnes , 79, a homemaker, died Sunday, June 16, 2002, at Sylvia's Hospice House.
A native of Smithville, Ark., she moved here from Lake Helen in 1980. Mrs. Barnes was a member of First Assembly of God in Ocala.
Survivors include her daughters, Jane Holt, Oklahoma City, Okla., Joan Madison, Kay Whigham, Carla Voisinet, all of Ocala; son, Eldon Fossey, Oklahoma City; sisters, Faye Christopher, Smithville and Bonnie Baugh, Bellville, Ill.; 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Barnes , March 31, 1994; and son, Weldon Fossey who died in August, 1988.
