The funeral for Gene "Brig" Briegge, 60, of Perry, will be 2 p.m. Friday, at First Presbyterian Church, Perry. The Rev. Paul Stewart will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry.
He was born Feb. 26, 1945, in Oklahoma City to Leonard and Mary Jo Hickman Briegge and died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, at Perry Memorial Hospital.
He graduated from Sumner High School in 1963 and Northern Oklahoma College and later attended Central State University. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard.
He worked for Charles Machine Works for 23 years, and was a merchandising manager for Cherco, Inc., for four years.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn of the home, one son, Clay Briegge of Perry; one daughter, Deena Rudd of Stillwater; his father, Leonard Briegge of Perry; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
