Mrs. Corrie E. Brannon, 73, died yesterday afternoon at her home, 394 North Church Street, following several years of declining health and three weeks of serious illness.
She was the wife of the late J.R. Brannon of Spartanburg and was a native of Greenville, but had lived most of her life in this city. She was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. W.F. West and Mrs. Josie B. Collier, both of Spartanburg, and Mrs. C.B. Henderson of Greer; one son, Paul O. Brannon of Cleveland, OH, two step-children, Mrs. J.L. Bagwell of Ben Avon and W.C. Brannon of Clifton, 34 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in the Arrowwood Church Cemetery near Chesnee.
