He was born June 26, 1890 in Poland to the late Michael and Helen (Zaidel) Leszek and was twice married, first to Ludwika Kuchta, who died April 7, 1939, and then to Annie M. Zelinsky, whom he married April 28, 1938 and who died March 7, 1975.
Surviving are a son, John J. Leszek; a daughter-in-law, Ann Leszek; two daughters, Mrs. Ellen Hill of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Alex (Mary) Kazimer of Marysville; a step-son, John Zelinsky, Brookville, Fla.; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A son and daughter preceded him in death.
Mr. Leszek was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Huntingdon. He engaged in farming in Henderson Township, Huntingdon County, for most of his life.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23 from Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Huntingdon. The Rev. Fr. Albert Anselmi will be celebrant and interment will be made in Holy Cross Cemetery, Huntingdon.
Friends will be received at the Robert E. Pters funeral home, Huntingdon, Sunday from 7 until 9 p.m. A Rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 8, also at the funeral home.
