Angeline Mary Mainero, an Eastpointe, Michigan, resident, entered eternal life on Wednesday June 10, 2009 at St. John Macomb Oakland Hospital Macomb Center in Warren, Michigan. She was 97 years old.

Angeline was a member of the Eastpointe Senior Citizens who enjoyed cooking, bowling, and playing cards, including Pinochle. She also enjoyed spending time up north.

Angeline was predeceased by her husband, Americo on January 5, 1984. They had been married for 51 years.

She is survived by her son James (Stella) Mainero, and grandchildren, Karen Mainero, James (Nancy) Mainero, Marilyn Mainero, Mark Mainero, and Matthew (Maria) Mainero. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Melody, James, Cassandra, Justin, Anna, David, Sarah, and Robert. She is the Great Great grandmother of Juliette. Mrs. Mainero was also survived by nieces and a nephew. She also had many loving cousins in Italy.

Visitation will be at the S. K. Schultz Funeral Home 21705 Gratiot at 8 ½ Mile Road Friday from 2:00 until 9:00 pm with a Scripture Service at 7:00 pm.

Visitation Saturday at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church in Eastpointe from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 am.

Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit
