Knowlton-MAYNARD
Lowell Leon Knowlton, 75, of Maynard died Friday, May 14, in his home. Born in Success, he was a cattle farmer and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Russell Knowlton of Maynard; one son, Don Knowlton of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; two brothers, Richard Knowlton of Corning and Thomas Knowlton of Michigan; two sisters, Leda Haynes of Pocahontas and Aline Noblin of Paragould; one stepbrother, Clay Overby of Illinois; and one half sister, Nell Wilson of Texas.
` He was preceded in death by his parents, Almus and Myrtle Hovis Knowlton; two brothers; one sister; and one half sister.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas, with Randy Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Legate Cemetery at Maynard.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Legate Cemetery.
