NEELYVILLE -- Roxie Louise Harper, 64, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, at the Mark Twain Care Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Harper was born Dec. 20, 1939, in Corning, Ark. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a retired waitress.
On May 29, 1970, she married Everett Chester Harper in Corning. He preceded her in death April 7, 2001.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Sells Mullins of Greenville and Kathy Putman of Oxly; one son, William Ray Sells of Doniphan; three stepdaughters, Diana Creason of Florrisant, Sylvia Johnson of Georgia and Everetta Carr of Fairview, Ill.; two sisters, Leda Haynes of Pocahontas, Ark., and Aline Noblin of Paragould, Ark.; four brothers, Thomas Knowlton of Madison Heights, Richard Knowlton of Corning, Ark., Leon Knowlton of Maynard, Ark., and Clay Overbey of Dupo, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. The funeral service will follow at noon in the funeral chapel with the Rec. Carlton Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Bluff Cemetery in Idalia.
