Died at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 1983, at West Feliciana Hospital, St. Francisville. She was 71, a native of Morton, Miss., and resident of Jackson. She was a retired East Louisiana State Hospital employee, with more than 26 years of service.


Visiting at Kidder-Cox Funeral Home, Delhi, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday. Religious services at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial in Crowville Cemetery.


Survived by a son, Robert "Bobby" Chisholm, St. Francisville; five sisters, Edna Jenkins, Cartages [sic Carthage], Miss., Flora Boyd, Delhi, Willie Ruth Edmonson, Oak Grove, Irma Barlow, Pearl, Miss., and Dorothy Hartz, Vicksburg, Miss.; four brothers, Otis Walker, Atlanta, Ga., Hinton Walker, Baltimore, Md., Dewey Walker, Natchez, Miss., and Huey Walter [sic Walker], Vicksburg; four grandchildren, Debbie and Robert H. Chisholm, both of Jackson, Edith Williams and Benton Foster, both of St. Francisville; a great-grandchild, Amanda Williams, St. Francisville.


She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Jackson.
