Charles H Fair, father of John F. Fair, 333 Miller St. Reading. died at his home in Shillington as a result of complication and infirmities. He had attained the age of 80 years. (He spent the last 7 years of his life in the Almshouse where he died) Mr, Fair spent the greater part of his life in Berks County. He was a son of Levi and Catharine (Walters) Fair. Before retiring 15 years ago he was employed at the Maidencreek pumping station. His wife Maria (Nagle) died 57 years ago. Surviving are a son, John F., Reading, three grandsons: Elmer E., Reading, Charles R., Charleston, West Va. and Mervin F of Reading. Three great-grandchildren remain
