She was born July 15, 1934, in Halstead, Kansas, the daughter of Cecil and Hattie(Corder)Compton. She grew up in Rich Hill and on Sept. 15, 1951, she and E. Dean Beth were united in marriage. They moved to Forsyth in 1972 after retiring from the lumber business, moving to Ozark in 2001. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Forsyth.
Mrs Beth loved her family and enjoyed spending time with all of them. She also enjoyed sewing for herself and the family, working crossword puzzles and spending time outdoors.
Survivors include: her husband, Dean, three children , Marla Sullivan and husband Pat, Kimberling City, Karen Ray and Brent Goerlitz, Ozark, and Jeff Beth and wife Sonia, Ozark, eight grandchildren, Jon Sullivan and wife Ann, Jeremy Sullivan and Michael Charneco, Annie Schildknect and husband Darin, Christian Gideon and Aubrey Yonke, Dylan Gideon and Savannah Waszczuk, Carson Ray, Courtney Beth and Jaelyn Beth, two great-grandchildren, Masen Gideon and Maggie Ann Sullivan, a sister Pam Tourtillott, Nevada, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step-parents and two sisters.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. June 9, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pat Sullivan officiating . Burial followed in Hopedale Cemetery north of Ozark. Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. June 8 in the funeral home.
