Wernersville, Sept. 8--Claude A. Miller, 86, formerly of Church road, this borough, died yesterday in the Twin Spruce Convalescent Home, Myerstown.
Born in Bethel Township, a son of the late Serenus and Emma (Snyder) Miller, he was a retired farmer.
A member of Reed's Lutheran Church, Stouchsburg, he was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie M. (Ruth) Miller, on April 17, 1959.
Miller is survived by three daughters: Anna, widow of Charles Schmehl, and Margaret, wife of Charles E. Matthew, both of here, and Ruth, wife of Walter Klopp, Shillington; a son, Clarence, Richland; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Roy of Stouchsburg, and a sister, Lydia, wife of Ralph Savage, Lawn, Lebanon County.
Services will be held in the Lamm & Witman Funeral Home on Monday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Irwin E. Heckman officiating. Burial will be made in Host Church Cemetery.
