Rites Incomplete For Sarah Aliff
HINTON, Jan. 15 (RNS) — Mrs. Sarah Bailey Aliff, 91, died at 4:30 a. m. today at her home on War Ridge, near Ballengee, after an illness of two weeks. She had been bedfast since Saturday.
Born in Summers County, Nov, 3, 1867, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Talbert Hudson. She was a member of the Rollinsburg Baptist Church at Talcott.
Surviving are three sons, Claude and Edgar, both of Ballengee, and William C. Bailey of Meadow Creek; two daughters, Mrs. Nell Reed of Talcott and Mrs. Eunice Reed of Marie; three stepsons, W. E. of Lindside, Emmett of North Carolina, and Edward Aliff of Martinsville, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Clara Rudsill of Ballengee; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors. Arrangements are incomplete.
