Anna Musick Bain, 81, of Dry Valley Road, Radford, Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 10, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleaman Bain; mother and father, Charles and Nola Bain; and four brothers, Charles R., Jerry D., Robert E., and Benny J. Musick. Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Kyle Davis; a son, Steven L. Bain and fianc�e, Nadine Chalifoux. Also surviving are granddaughters, Evangelist Angela Michelle Bain, and Anna Elizabeth Bain and fiance, Howard A. Johnson; great-grandsons, Tyler L. Bain and Antonio A. Johnson; and sister, Emma K. Musick. Anna met her husband, Cleaman Bain, while at Radford University studying Home Economics. She also worked with the Democratic Party and helped elect Jimmy Carter. She was a retired business owner of Ann's Custom Dress Shop and was a Member of the Calvary Baptist Church For 54 years. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at the Calvary Baptist Church with O.D. Morgan and Brian Cochram officiating. Burial will follow at Bain Family Cemetery. Arrangements by DeVilbiss Funeral Home and Crematory, 540-639-2422.
