Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Cole & Maud Mortuary chapel, 215 S. Washington St., for Mrs. Velma Fern Glimpse, who died Sunday at the Desert Valley Care Center. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Mountain View Cemetery. The Rev. Grant Layman will officiate.
Mrs. Glimpse was born March 5, 1891 in Pennsylvania. She had lived in Casa Grande 38 years, moving here from Ohio. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and had worked at Hoemako Hospital for many years. She was a member of the Christian Church.
She is survived by her son, William Glimpse, of Marion, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Two of her grandchildren, Warren "Butch" Truman and Susan Truman, live in Casa Grande.
