Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Assembly of God church for Winifred C. Morgan, 65, who died at McCook's Community Hospital Thursday (March 31, 1988).
She was born Nov, 14, 1922, in Alexander, Kansas, to Herman and Mary (Taylor) Boese, attended school in Bazine, Kansas and married Glenn W. Morgan on July 7, 1940. The couple took up residence in McCook in 1952.
Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Assembly of God church and was preceded in death by her mother, a grandson and a brother.
She is survived by her father, who now resides in Iola, Kansas; her husband; a son, Glenn Jr., a daughter, Glenna Hughes, of Mexia, Texas; a sister, Wilma Nadine Reeder, Iola; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildern.
The Rev. John Francisco will officiate, Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitors may call at the Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home all day today and on Sunday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Memorials may also be left at the funeral home.
