Capt. R. C. M. Page, pilot, and two passengers were burned to death near Everglades Monday in the fall of a seaplane, which caught fire. All of the victims were residents of Fort Myers. The passengers were G. H. Bryant, tax assessor for Lee county. and Thos. H. Colcord, member of the city council. The seaplane left Fort Myers Sunday morning carrying Mr. Bryant to attend to his duties in connection with the assessment of road taxes in the southern part of Lee county. He chose the air route because of the bad condition of the roads The bodies have been brought here for burial.
