A resident of the Erie area most of her life, she was born in Heart's Content, PA on August 11, 1926, a daughter of the late Ernest and Edith Weller Albaugh.
Betty had worked as a clerk at Heyl's Pharmacy in Erie for 8 years and retired in 1981.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Louis R. "Bob" Hinkle on January 31, 2006; a great grandson, James Harris; and two brothers, Robert and Donald Albaugh.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Bastow and her husband, Douglas and Debbie Fohner and her friend, Robert Ferguson, all of Erie; a brother, Virgil Albaugh and his wife, Connie, of Warren, PA; a sister, Charmaine Schmader of Warren, PA; five grandchildren, David Bayer and his wife, Kelly, Marianne Harris, Christina Rogers and her husband, Andy, Trevor and Shannon Bastow, all of Erie; four greatgrandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
