Husband of my half-great-great-aunt Leona. He is said to have been a descendant of Betsy Ross. In addition to the 3 sons linked below, Virgil & Leona had 3 daughters (all still living as of 2011): Nadine Virginia McLinn (now known as Lola Grace Keizer), Betty Lou McLinn Laage, & Margaret "Margo" Rose McLinn McBride.

Since his page has been transferred to me (Margo McBride)on an added note, I would like to say that my father enjoyed doing his life's occupation of Home Building very much. He also enjoyed attending Eucharist Service and also Morning Prayer Services at St.Andrew's Episcopal Church in Tacoma, Washington, where he was a confimed member since the early 1970s. He made routine building repairs to the church as was needed as a way of giving back to the Lord and to is fellow parish memebers. His daughter, Margo McBride married Bob McBride (aka Howard R. McBride) at St. Andrew's Church in 1973 and his cremated ashes are located in the Church's Columbarium.
