Clyde C. Boyette, 90, of Forsythia Drive died at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mr. Boyette was an Army veteran of World War II and enjoyed gardening and crossword puzzles.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. John Ruland officiating. Calling will be from 4 until 6 p.m. Friday and from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Brea, Calif.
Born in New Bern, N.C., April 17, 1914, Mr. Boyette married Virginia Griffin Boyette in December 1962.
He is survived by his son, Oliver Rink of Bakersfield, Calif.; daughter, Inita Sweet of Columbus; grandchildren, Diane Young, Gary and David Rink, Krystie Petro, Larry Sweet Jr. and Jeremy Sweet.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in October of 2001; and seven brothers and sisters.
