Mrs. Balmain was born November 3, 1913 to Claude and Emma McKee in Onega, KS. Ina was married on June 12, 1938 to Milton Balmain. They had four children, Doug, Tom, Carol, and Bill.
Milton and Ina were charter members of Granite Bay Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, and have been faithful members since the early 1960's, where Ina was the Alter Guild Chairman for 35 years.
Ina is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, Milton of Granite Bay; son and daughter-in-law Douglas and Theran of Coulterville, CA.; daughter Carol of Auburn; son and daughter-in-law William and Cheryl of Grass Valley, CA.; 10 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Balmain.
A memorial service was held at the Granite Bay Lutheran Church of the Resurrection at 6365 Douglas Blvd on Tuesday, February 14, 2006.
