The Goldendale Sentinel, April 8, 1920:

Mrs. Elmer Watson, who had lately undergone an operation in The Dalles hospital for appendicitis, had recovered sufficiently to be brought home. Last Sunday, when Mr. Watson had gone down for that purpose he found her quarantined in the pest house with smallpox. We are told other Klickitat county patients have been exposed. Mrs. L.A. Duncan, of The Dalles, is reported ill with the smallpox, and several others.

Married Elmer Robert Watson on October 16, 1909 in The Dalles, Wasco Co., Oregon.

Married Fred Watson on October 5, 1938 in Prosser, Benton Co., Washington.
