He was born in Owensville, MO, Nov. 20, 1842, and came to Pacific some 20 years ago to make his home.
He has followed his trade, that of tinner, during the years of his residence in our city.
A widow, formerly Miss Emma Zieger; three sons, Henry, George and Fred, all of this city; three daughters, Mrs. John Schulte and Mrs. Ray Gasperson of St. Louis and Miss Emma at home and two grandchildren survive him.
Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. Pfieffer Friday afternoon and interment was in public cemetery. We extend our sympathy.
