Marian Elizabeth Oliver, 60, died in Lakeview Tuesday following a long illness. She was born in Medford on Nov. 12, 1919, to Maude and J.H. "Dick" Brown.
On Jan. 21, 1935 she married Van L. Oliver in Lakeview, who died May 26, 1978. She was a graduate of Lakeview High School and worked as a beautician for several years. Part of her life was spent in Paisley.
In the past, she was a member of Rebekah Lodge and the Lakeview Saddle Club.
Survivors include a son, Joseph D. Barry, Springfield,; two grandchildren, Tina Barry and David McQueen, springfield; a sister, Beverly Cannon, Valley Falls.
