The Weekly Record
Eustis, Nebraska; Thursday, April 2, 1896 Vol. 6, No. 17 Page 1
H. O. Olsen
On Thursday, April 16; at the home of his son-in-law, H. Brooks, four miles southwest of Eustis, Mr. H. O. Olsen breathed his last after a short illness. While he had been ailing for some time he was able to be about until within almost a week of his death. Mr. Olsen was one of the oldest and most respected settlers of this community. We very much doubt if there was a better posted man on the financial question in this section, as he had given it years of study. In his death the community has lost an upright citizen of strict integrity and sterling character. The sympathy of the friends and neighbors is extended to the bereaved. The remains were taken to Iowa Friday for burial.
