Sulhi Suha Altug, died Friday, June 12, 2009 after an eight year battle with lung cancer.
Suha was born July 8, 1946 in Malatya, Turkey.
Prior to residing in Brevard County, Suha lived in Ann Arbor, MI.
He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1974 with his degree in Engineering.
Then becoming an Engineering Manager for Ford Motor Company, where he retired after 17 years.
He enjoyed skiing, golfing and sailing, but his greatest joys were his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ali and Lamisal and nephew Ali Altug.
Suha is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judith; daughter, Dr. Deniz Johnson of Melbourne, FL; grandchildren, Bennett and Juliana Johnson; brothers, Reha (Sande) of Bodrum, Turkey and Yucel (Nurten) of Hamburg, Germany; sisters, Gonul Demirtas of Ankara, Turkey, Feyza Hall of South, Florida and Gulmisal Altug of South Florida; as well as many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from 5 to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral will be on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Services will be held at Beach Funeral Homes, Melbourne/Suntree 4999 N. Wickham Road.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a contribution to the American Cancer Society in his honor.
