Mr. Allen Andrew Baldwin, 79, of Woodland Drive, Blairsville, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2005 at his home following an extended illness.
Mr. Baldwin was born Nov. 28, 1925 in Lee County, Iowa, the son of the late Victor Baldwin and the late Mary Sommers Baldwin. He had retired in 1987 from the City of Ft. Pierce, Fla. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army of WWII where he received several medals, including the Silver Star. He was a lifetime member of the VFW. Mr. Baldwin was a member of the First Baptist Church.
