Ronald passed away on Friday, June 12, at his farm at the age of 56 years, 4 months and 16 days. He worked at Pella Corp. for 34 years and also farmed near Lovilia. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette; children, Patrick (Shanna) Buckley of Palm Coast, Florida, Rhonda Buckley of Knoxville; 6 grandchildren; mother, Kristine Buckley of Newton; sisters, Linda (Dal) Modlin of Newton, Karen (Steve) Carnahan of Texas, Sue (Gene) Sacco of Centerville, Doris (Ed) Anderson of Des Moines; stepson, Paul (Tammy) Newman of Lovilia, along with other relatives and many friends.∼Son of Ralph Buckley and Kristine Jensen Buckley.
Employeed at Pella Corporation for 34 years. Following graduation from Knoxville High School in 1971, Ron began farming. Ron also loved spending time with his mules and going on wagon rides. Hunting turkey, deer and mushrooms were also things he enjoyed. Ron had a hidden talent as a quilter, making many beautiul quilts. He enjoyed every moment with family and friends, and grandchildren. Ron was united in marriage to Jeanette Newman on January 23,2009 in Unionville, Missouri.
Ron passed away at his farm while driving a tractor putting in a septic tank for the new house he was building.
He was preceded in death by his father Ralph and a daughter, Teri Buckley
Survivors include his wife Jeanette, children Patrick (Shanna) Buckley of Palm Coasts, Florida Rhonda Buckley of Knoxville, 6 grandchildren, Mother, Kristine Buckley of Newton, sisters, Linda (Dal) Maudlin of Newton, Karen (Steve) Carnahan of Texas, Sue (Gene) Sacco of Centerville, Doris (Ed) Anderson of Des SMoines, stepson Paul (Tammy)Newman of Lovilia.
