William Glenn Swank, son of William Swank and Susannah Hanawalt, was born Feb. 1, 1895 at Johnstown, PA, and died May 9, 1978 at Avon Park, FL. His last home was at Lorida, FL. The body was brought here for burial beside his first wife.

On Oct. 15, 1919, Glenn Swank and Bertha Elise Ridgely, daughter of Oscar and Maranda Ridgely, were married in the Walnut Grove Church, the first marriage to take place in this church. Glenn and Bertha made their home in Montana, spending many winters in their home in Florida. They were the parents of Eunice Miriam who married Harvey Yoder, Eugene Ridgely who married Pearl Pederson, and Evelyn Jane who married Chalmer Johnson.

Bertha was born in Richland County Jan. 18, 1890 and died April 9, 1959 in Richland County, while on her way from Florida to Montana.

Glenn later married Mrs. Edith Drake and she survives.
