JAMES SCHAEFER
James Robert Schaefer, 66, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009, in Las Vegas, of an abdominal aneurysm. Jim was born Feb. 13, 1943, in Chicago, a son of Madison Charles and Darline Carrie Weddle Schaefer.
He married Kathlene Bingham, Sept. 1, 1988, in Scottsdale, Ariz., later solemnized in the Mesa LDS Temple.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy of Las Vegas; one son; four stepsons; 22 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Marie Schaefer; two sisters; one brother; and one granddaughter.
Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Visitation again Friday, 8:30–9:15 a.m., with service following, both at the Meadows 10th Ward, 5750 Cimarron.
Interment will be in the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Boulder City.
