She was born in Bacon County, GA and was a daughter of Carolyn Sweat Taylor of Alma, Georgia and the late Marlow Taylor.
She was an employee of Norbord and a member of the Community Baptist Church and the Praise Band.
Surviving are her husband, Scott W. Alexander of the home, brothers and sisters, Greg Taylor, Dale Taylor, John David Taylor, Regina Andrews, Anna Gilbreth, Julie Moore, Michael Moore and Lamar Moore.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. in Community Baptist Church with burial Saturday in Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Alma, GA at 2:00 p.m.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cause of death: During a bad storm, a tree fell across the car Kim was driving.
