Son of Matthew "Mack" Raley (no 'i') and Missouri Hodge. Born in Bibb County, Georgia, near Macon, probably in the Warrior District.

I am not certain which of these graves are his, and which are those of other members of his immediate family, but I confirmed with the land owner that the Raileys are buried in these plots.

Although these graves appear to be above-ground crypts, the remains are actually buried underground.

In the photo, Jim Railey is believed to be on the far right of the first row. The other men in the photo are his brothers, all of whom also migrated to northwestern Louisiana from Bibb County, Georgia.
