Otto Smith, 73, died in St. Anthony Hospital Friday. He was a veteran of World War I and a 50-year member of the United Mine Workers of America. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Helen Drake, Clinton, Mrs. Virginia Williams, Terre Haute, and Mrs. Betty Case, West Terre Haute; two sons, Harold, West Terre Haute, and Leroy, Grand Rapids, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Underwood, Sandford, Ind., and Mrs. Dorothy Harris, Vermilion, Ill.; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Bedino Chapel of the Valley, with the Rev. W.C. Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in the Bethesda Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday.
