Born about 1608 (aged 27 in 1635). Came from Bridgeworth, Shropshire, to Massachusetts Bay in 1635 on the "Elizabeth." First settled in Salem; moved to Saybrook by 1643. Died in Saybrook, 4 Feb 1698/9.
Married at Saybrook 9 Dec 1643, Lydia Danforth, daughter of NICHOLAS DANFORTH. On 23 May 1667, John Winthrop Jr. treated "Beamond Lydia 40 y[ears] wife of Willia[m] Beamond of Saybrooke ... "gravida est" [pregnant] within 6 weeks of her time." She died at Saybrook, 16 Aug 1686.
William may have been brother of "Jon Beamond," who came on the same ship in 1635.
