An employee of Villa Feliciana Medical Complex, Jackson, she died Saturday evening, Nov. 15, 1997, at her residence in Jackson. She was 55 and a native of New Roads. Visiting at Second Baptist Church, Jackson, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services at the church at 11 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Roger Mitchell and the Rev. Mack Stewart. Interment in church cemetery.

Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jody Watson, Jackson; two stepdaughters and stepsons-in-law, Betty and Buddy Knox, Baton Rouge, and Margie and Curtis Addison, Greenwell Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sue Cooper, Jackson; two stepsons and a stepdaughter-in-law, John E. Cooper, Baton Rouge, and Kenny and Donna Cooper, Jackson; two sisters, Beatrice Bayham and Ethel Minnier, both of Baton Rouge; a brother, Percy Bueche; three grandchildren; and numerous stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by husband, Johnnie F. Cooper; a son, Kelvin Cooper; parents, a brother, a grandson and a great-grandson.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Watson, Dexter Stevens, Mark Perot, Will Worley, Willie Williams and Scooter Addison.

Honorary pallbearers are grandsons.

She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Jackson. Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., in charge of arrangements.
