Mrs Jennie Stombaugh, formerly of Mapleton, died on Sunday night, July 28, 1963, in the Rebekah Home for the Aged at Harrisburg.
She was born in Hares Valley on September 16, 1869, a daughter of Jonathan and Emeline (Chilcote) Dell. She was married to William Stombaugh in 1896 and he preceded her in death in 1934.
Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Luella Wagner of Harrisburg. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
She lived in Mapleton until a few years ago when she became a resident of the home in Harrisburg.
Funeral services will be held at the Rebekah Home in Harrisburg on Wednesday evening. The body will be brought to Mapleton for interment in the Mapleton IOOF Cemetery with committal services at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
