VALPARAISO -- Bertha Hendricks, 85, of Valparaiso, died Wednesday, June 14, 1995.
She was born Feb. 27, 1910, in Valparaiso, the daughter of William and August (Toedt) Hendricks.
She was a homemaker.
On July 20, 1929, in Valparaiso, she married John M. Hendricks, who preceded her in death in 1985.
Surviving are three children, Richard (Louise) Hendricks of Eustis, Fla., Edwin (Carol) Hendricks of Glen Ellyn, Ill., and Darlene Beatty of Valparaiso; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Lemster of Malden; a sister, Edna Danford of DuBois, Ind. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Services 10 a.m. Saturday at Bartholomew Funeral Home, Valparaiso; the Rev. Dr. Ted Lester officiating; burial at Memorial Park, Valparaiso; visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
