B. Brockway

Bonnie E. Brockway, 83 of 3799 N. Adrian Hwy., Adrian, died Monday afternoon at Bixby Hospital. He had been in failing health several years.

He was born Jan. 19, 1894, in Adrian, to Justin and Gertrude (King) Brockway.

On March 12, 1920, he married Alta A. Brewer in Holloway. She preceded him in death in 1974.

Mr. Brockway worked for many years for the Lenawee County Road Commission and retired in 1959 from Kewanunee Manufacturing. He was a World War 1 veteran. He attended Raisin Valley Friends Church.

Surviving are one son, Lawrence Brockway of Adrian, one daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Patricia) Mills of Adrian; five grandchildren and two sisters.

He was also preceded in death by one brother.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Everiss Funeral Home with the Rev. Lawrence Cox officiating.

Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery.

Friends may call this evening at the funeral home.
