Otis B Bickford passed from this life at his home near Creston, Monday, September 13, 1920. The body was brought to Corning, Wednesday of last week and funeral services were held at the Adams County First Baptist Church. Interment was made in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Otis Bickford was born September 7, 1843 in Ohio. He served his country during the Civil War in the 36th Ohio Infantry. After the war he came west and on the 14th of November 1871 he was united in marriage to Miss Nancy Perry at Mt. Etna. Mr. and Mrs. Bickford moved to the vicinity of Creston in 1883. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Cornelia 13976034) Whittington of near Creston, beside a number of relatives in this community.
