Information has not been passed down if Daniel is buried in the family Cemetery, if not then the other logical location would be the Katy Moyers Cemetery which is located less than 2 miles from the farm. Daniel purchased the land where the Cemetery is located in 1852. He and his wife Rachel raised their family here and the last 5 of their 9 children were born here. For some unknown reason, Daniel took his life by hanging in May of 1862. There is a large field stone at the base of a large tree on the bottom edge of the Cemetery and it appears that there is a grave there. That is the location that I am questionably calling Daniel final resting place.

Daniel and Rachel had the following children:
David Rogers Beeler May 01, 1842 m Nancy J. Stiner
James A. Beeler November 28, 1844 m 1. Elizabeth A. Honeycutt 2. Esther Lynch (moved to 1. Nebraska 2. Oregon)
James Asbury Beeler
John W. Beeler December 31, 1847 m Sarah A. Stiner
French Haggard Beeler May 04, 1850 m Martha Stiner
William Harrison Beeler January 05, 1853 m Rachel Savage
Andrew Jackson Beeler April 10, 1855 m Sarah R. Graves
Francis Marion Beeler March 14, 1857 m ?
Sarah Matilda Beeler August 14, 1859 m ?Henry Graves
Daniel M. Beeler November 28, 1862 never married

NOTE: Cousin Mary Lynn Stiner Gilmore, stated that her dad Curt Stiner (son of Pearly Beeler Stiner) told her that Daniel was buried under the tree where he hung himself. Whether it is under the tree in the family Cemetery, we are not sure, but makes it more likely I have his burial location listed correctly.
