Idaho Falls farmer, Clarence J. Park, 85, died August 10, 1984, at an Idaho Falls hospital following a heart attack.
He was born February 14, 1899 at Hibbard to James F. and Mariah Carson Park, where he also attended school. He has lived at Rexburg, Salmon, and moved to Idaho Falls in 1960.
Park married Gyneth Jensen on November 16, 1927 in the Logan LDS Temple. She died in 1932 and he married Florence McKenna in 1936.
During his life he was a farmer.
He was an active member of the LDS Church and served as a bishop and temple officiator. He was also a branch president while serving a mission in New England with his wife.
Survivors include his wife, three sons, J.C., Blackfoot, Gordon, Eagle Point, Oregon, and Darrell, Hemet, California; one daughter, Mrs. Zenos (Sharon) Hartvigsen, Denver, Colorado; one step-son, Douglas C. McKenna, San Jose, California; two step-daughters, Berniece McKenna Adams, Idaho Falls, and Mrs. Orval (Marjorie) Roylance, Roy, Utah; one sister, Mrs. Afton Clay, Riverside, California; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the LDS 7th Ward Chapel with Bishop Gary K Orchard officiating. Burial will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
