On May 8, 1844, Little Berry Croley (Age: 28) buys land, from Uncle Francis Travis Gibson, in Campbell County, Tennessee presumably to set-up housekeeping.
In the Census records of 1850 and 1860, Little Berry Croley and his family are still living in Campbell County, Tennessee.
In 1863, Little Berry Croley (age 44) enlisted in Company B, Tennessee 1st East Tenn Cavalry Regiment as a Private in the roll of a Scout(Union Army, Civil War).
Little Berry and Winnie had 11 children: Parisidia, Elizabeth Jane, Nancy L., James Merlin, John G. "Black John", Mary "Polly" J., Wymer, Thomas, Green Berry, Andrew Jackson, and Michael M. Croley.
By 1870, Little Berry Croley had moved his family to Little Poplar Creek (Subdivision 93), Knox County, Kentucky where he died on March 21 1879.
NOTE: This Little Berry Croley was a first cousin of the Little Berry Croley that lived in Scott County, Tennessee.
