Frank Alexander
Frank B. ALEXANDER, 67, 531 East Eighth street, a retired farmer, died at 6:40 a.m. today at his home after an illness of six years. Mr. Alexander had farmed in Richland township before retiring and moving to Rochester.
Born Oct. 27, 1891 in Tipton county, he was the son of Australia and Jessie DABNEY ALEXANDER. On March 27, 1943, he was married in Rochester to Meriam VAWTER, who died July 31, 1946. Mr. Alexander was a mamber of the Rochester Church of God.
Surviving are the mother, a sister, Mrs. Paul COOPER, and a brother, William [ALEXANDER], all of Elkhart, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rochester Church of God with the Rev. Daniel SLAYBAUGH and the Rev. C. J. MOWRER officiating. Burial will be in the local I.O.O.F. cemetery. The Foster & Good funeral home is in charge of services.
Friends may call at the residence after 10 a.m. Saturday and until noon Sunday. The body will lie in state at the church from 1-2 p.m. Sunday.
