Opie Tullos 77, Borger, died at 12:35pm Thursday, Dec 22, 1994 in BSA Hospital in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 2pm Saturday at Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. L.R. Green, pastor of Pleasant Valley Assembly of God Church in Amarillo, officiating, assisted by Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church.

Burial will be by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Star City, Ark. grew up in Monticello, Ark and had been a Borger resident since 1953.

He was owner of Tullos Real Estate retiring in 1970. He was also a realtor and income tax. He was an Assembly of God Evangelist and worked at the Phil Black Plant for 9 years.

He married Melba McIntire on Nov. 16, 1941 in McKinney, Tx.

He was preceded in death by a son, Opie Jr., a daughter, Eva Ann and his parents.

Suvivors include his wife, two sons, Charlie Tullos of Amarillo: Opie T Tullos of Borger, two daughter: Martha Stratton, of Mayback and Brenda Standiford of Amarillo, three brothers, James Tullos, Robert Tullos, Joe Tullos all of Monticallo, Ark., two sisters: Marie Lacy of West Monroe La. and Lois Mattson of Tangent, Ore.,seven grandchildren,7 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great grandchildren.
