Dr. Dallwigk was the first physician appointed to the Stark County, Ohio, Infirmary.
Ferdinand and Louisa were the parents of six children: Ferdinand Christian, Maria Margaret, Laurentina Justina [Tobias Manfred] Hendryx, Lovina 'Loviey' Marie [William] Hughes, Margaret C [Alfred] Rogers and Ada Anna [Homer] Laughfry.
Ferdinand visited his homeland and brought his brother Charles back with him. Ferdinand died soon after returning from Germany on 1848 Nov 13 in Canal Fulton Stark county Ohio at the age of 34 years 5 months 1 day.
Where Ferdinand was originally interred and when he was removed to Westlawn Cemetery, Canton Stark county Ohio, Section H Lot 106, is not known. There is no interment date on the lot card. It could be that he was re-interred the same time as his wife, 04 Sep 1890. There is no record of when the 'right of interment' was purchased
